Today’s post is all about Ellie’s garden birthday party!!! We had the best time celebrating our 7 year old with an indoor garden party – she told me she wanted lots of color, flowers, and a table filled with fruits & veggies!

Garden Party Lights
We started with the lights, which were completely necessary per Ellie’s vision board she created with me on Pinterest LOL. And I have to say – I loved them even more than I expected to! What is a garden party without magical lights?! These are the exact ones we used:
Garden Party cake + cupcakes
The fabulous flower cupcakes were made by our good friend, Vivi – who is in middle school btw! How amazing is she?! I loveee how creative she was with the lil’ cupcake flower pot! I picked up the cake at Kroger and added my own sprinkles & edible glitter. The cake topper is one I used from Ellie’s Encanto party a couple of years ago!

Garden Party Food + Drinks
I had a blast with the food at this party! Ellie specifically told me she wanted a lot of fruits + veggies, so it felt like a garden and very nature-y! Although she doesn’t even eat veggies – LOL! We kept it light and fresh with more of a brunch theme since our party was at Noon on a Sunday. We had a ton of fruit and veggies with hummus, as well as a few different frittatas, salad, mini pancakes, croissants, turkey & cheese sliders, and pb&j sliders.
For the drinks, we had a juice bar, ice water infused with fresh mint/lemon/strawberries/blueberries, and Diet Coke, which is always a crowd pleaser.

Garden Party Activities/Favors/Gifts
The kids totally entertained themselves in between food, cake, gifts, etc. We passed out wildflower seed packets at the end for party favors!

The Flowers
I picked up all of the flowers a couple of days before the party at Kroger. I wish we had a Trader Joe’s near us but sadly we don’t! Kroger didn’t have much to choose from honestly – but we made do & I like how the bouquets turned out. I knew we needed plenty of flowers to really go with the theme! The daisies were my favorite.

Okay, so my good friend Samie at DigiDownard created all of the magical balloon art! She is sooo good if you’re local! I can’t recommend her more. I did blow up the balloons in the breakfast nook the morning of with our Balloon Time helium tank, which is a total game changer for parties!
The Gifts
We wrapped Ellie’s gifts in wrapping paper I picked up from Home Goods a few months ago. The nametag is from Chalk Designs by Me– I like to reuse these every year for the girls – for their birthdays and at Christmastime.
What did I miss? I think that about sums up Ellie’s garden party! We had A BLAST!!!
