Today I’m sharing a little bit about our day at EPCOT with kids. While I personally think there is more for adults to do at EPCOT, there are a few attractions that make this park a must-do while visiting Disney World with kids!
Also, if you’re looking for a reputable Disney planner, Jill is your girl! She is wonderful and FREE to use! She’s a great friend & I can’t recommend her more.

Our Epcot Day Timeline
This is total recap of our day at EPCOT with kids which may be helpful if you’re trying to plan out your time! I loosely had a schedule w our Lightening Lanes & dining reservations and then we filled in the time from there:
- 7:30am – Caught the monorail from our hotel
- 8:08am – In the park!
- 8:40am – rope dropped Soarin’ Around the World
- 9am – grabbed a quick breakfast from inside The Land pavilion
- 9:30am – lightening lane pass for Seas with Nemo & Friends
- 9:50am- walked to the UK in the World Showcase to meet Winnie the Pooh
- 10-10:45am- waited in the standby line for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure/rode Remy’s
- 11:20am- lightening lane for Spaceship Earth
- 11:45am – explored Journey with Water (the Moana exhibit)
- 12-1:30pm – Lunch at Space 220
- 2pm – Rode Journey Into Imagination & met Figment
- 2:50pm – met Alice in Wonderland in the United Kingdom pavilion
- 3pm – Grabbed ice cream from L’Artisan des Glaces in the France pavilion
- 3:40pm – Met Belle in the France pavilion
- 4:30pm – Met Anna & Elsa in the Norway pavilion
- 5pm – Avocado margaritas from La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico pavilion
- 5:30pm – We needed a break so we hopped on the skyliner (our first time riding it) to the Riviera resort! Took a break in their lobby + grabbed some water + much-needed r&r *** if we didn’t have a later dinner reservation/lightening lane for Frozen Ever After, this would’ve been a great time to go back to our resort for the rest of the day/evening
- 6:20pm – rode the skyliner back to Epcot
- 6:30pm – walked through more of the World Showcase
- 7pm – lightening lane for Frozen Ever After
- 7:40-8:40pm – dinner reservation at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall with Belle, Ariel, Tiana & Aurora
- 8:40pm – walked to the monorail – we were too tired to hang around for the fireworks/deal with transportation and crowds after the fireworks so we decided to beat the crowds and we did! we were on the monorail by 9pm and could see the fireworks starting as we traveled away from the park – still very memorable!

Our Top Epcot Rides & Experiences
- INTERNATIONAL FLOWER & GARDEN FESTIVAL – From March until June, EPCOT hosts its annual International Flower & Garden Festival and it’s pretty magical! I loved looking at all of the gorgeous flower installations that were oh so creative!

- REMY’S RATATOUILLE ADVENTURE – this was a hit with our entire family! if you can get a lightening lane, certainly try, as wait times can be long. we waited for 45 minutes and it honestly went pretty quickly! worth the wait and a cool experience!

- JOURNEY OF WATER – a beautiful water exhibit near the front of the park. Moana does meet & greets outside of this, too!

- WORLD SHOWCASE – We spent the afternoon in the back of the park taking in the World Showcase. Our favorite countries: France (by far my fave), Italy, Morocco, Mexico, & the UK (i also really loved this one)!

- MEETING CHARACTERS – Meeting Belle, Elsa, and Anna were definitely highlights of our EPCOT day! We also met Winnie the Pooh, Figment, Ariel, Tiana, Snow White, and Aurora. We sadly missed Jasmine in Morocco – maybe next time!

Honorable Mentions: We also throughly enjoyed riding Soarin’ Around the World & Frozen Ever After.
Where We Ate at Epcot with kids
After we rope dropped Soarin’, we quickly grabbed a casual grab and go breakfast inside The Land. For lunch, we had a prix-fixe, 2-course meal at Space 220 – which, if you have the chance to book, is a super cool + memorable dining experience – esp. if you’re into space! It’s like dining in space. I got a really pretty drink, the portions were large, and the girls loved their kids’ meals.

Dinner was fun at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway pavilion next to the Frozen Ever After ride. We met a lot of princesses – Ariel, Snow White, Tiana, Aurora, and Belle. The meal was served family style and offered something for everyone.

fun drinks at epcot
A huge reason why people visit EPCOT is to eat & drink around the world at the World Showcase. While this wasn’t this type of a trip – we did taste a few drinks throughout our day worth mentioning:
- AVOCADO MARGARITA – from La Cava del Tequila which is tucked in the Mexican marketplace.
- COMMAND CENTER – the absolute prettiest cocktail from Space 220, topped with freeze-dried raspberries.
- CHAMPAGNE – Tucked away in the France pavilion, you’ll find a hidden champagne/wine bar – Les Vins de France – you can even get a flight!

The EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival 2025
I loved that we were there to enjoy this annual festival – seeing all of the characters + the flowers were a definite highlight for me – I could’ve spent the entire day taking all of this in. Here are some photos:

While EPCOT was my least favorite park we did with kids, I still enjoyed it and am so glad we went! We went on a Friday and found it to be quite busy… and also hot in the afternoon while we were walking through the World Showcase – there was not a lot of shade. Maybe if we did it again, I would try to do the World Showcase in the morning and the front of the park in the afternoon? idk. Still. We had a ball + my girls consistently have told me they loved this park!
