Sharing some ideas for making Valentine’s Day baskets for kids today! You guys know I love curating baskets to gift to the girls around the holidays and Valentine’s Day is one of my favorites to put together!
I kept it pretty simple and decided to reuse a few things from last year, like the pink heart straws (Walmart), pink heart headbands (Walmart), the white ceramic heart gumball containers (Target) filled with M&M’s and Valentine’s candy corn, and these mini metal mailboxes filled with an assortment of bracelets and heart glasses (Walmart).
I love storing seasonal items in totes during the year and then pulling these items out around the holidays because they’re like brand new to the girls again! After Valentine’s is over, I’ll just store these things away again to use next year.
In terms of new items I purchased this year, I used these rattan baskets from H&M and added wooden paintable XOXO signs (Dollar Tree), two cutie Cuddle + Kind dolls (c/o), small wooden charcuterie boards (Target Dollar Spot), donut lollipops (Ellie & Piper), pink aprons + hearts from Heather Taylor Home, heart sunnies, and hot pink boas (Hobby Lobby). Finally, I added two fun pink heart balloons from Dollar Tree (similar from Amazon, here)!
Sometimes, I gift these baskets to the girls on February 1 but this year, I’m giving them on the 14th! I just didn’t get them done in time, plus, I always like to give them something on the actual holiday. The benefits of gifting them on the 1st, though, is that they can use and play with these items leading up to Valentine’s Day.
The Best Babes flag is from one of my faves, Hunny Prints, and the pretty sparkly heart garland is from The Buttercream Shop.
I hope this helps when you’re making Valentine’s Day baskets for kids! I’ve linked all that I could, plus some other ideas, below!
