Ah, our pink Christmas tree! I am SO EXCITED to share her with you today! You guys know I love a pink Christmas theme so when Nearly Natural reached out to me a couple of months ago and wanted to send me a tree – I was so thrilled because I’ve always wanted a pink Christmas tree in our playroom!
This tree they sent me, however, absolutely exceeded my expectations. It’s so full and lush and the size (7 feet) fits perfectly in our playroom.
Initially, I was tempted to go more neutral when decorating her and I at first even tried that look but something just felt missing. I wanted her to be playful, whimsical, girly, and fun!
When I spotted the little wooden gingerbread houses at Target’s Dollar Spot, I knew they had to go on our tree. I mean, how adorable are they?!
Next, I added the fur-a-loop white yarn from Hobby Lobby as a garland as well as star picks (that I cut from a garland) from Michael’s for a little more glitter and glam.
I tucked in some rosy red ornaments from Target (yes, tucked… I’m serious when I say this tree is so full… I didn’t even have to use hooks for them to stay).
For more color and even more whimsy, I finished decorating the tree by adding teal colored velvet ribbons that I found at Home Goods. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the look that the ribbons gave to the tree!
She gives off the most warm, welcoming glow at nighttime! The entire playroom is lit up by her soft, pink hued light. It’s really something special.
I just love her and so do the girls!
