Hi, friends – posting here today to share a couple of cute + simple first day of school treat ideas! I’ve seen these all over social media and had to try to make them myself. These would be perfect for an after school snack and/or for a Back to School party, too!
First Day of School Treat Ideas
First up: Smart Cookies! Make any type of cookie (we love choc. chip) or buy some from the store. Use icing to make glasses and a smile. Top with candy eyes! EASY and a huge kid favorite!
Next, try graham cracker pencil cookies! Cut the graham cracker into a shape of a pencil. You could also use sugar wafers. Use both white and pink icing. Finish with a mini chocolate chip for the pencil point.
Some other ideas: Smarties, string cheese “rulers” (draw with a marker on the package to make it look like a ruler), pencil shaped Rice Krispies, alphabet crackers, Trader Joe’s alphabet cookies, apple pretzels, and the list goes on!
