Hi guys! It’s been FOREVER since I’ve done one of these posts but I realized I took way too many photos this weekend and thus, felt the need to share them 🙂
WOW – peak weekend in Ohio may have just happened!!! I was in awe of the absolutely stunning color and couldn’t get enough of being outside!!!
Friday night, we celebrated our friends Mike and Rachel’s marriage in Hilliard at WatersEdge, which is a beautiful venue! We had never been there before but had a great time. I loved their cozy fireplace. I wore this dress.
Saturday morning, we went to the Chillicothe Children’s Museum (Mighty Museum), and, afterwards, grabbed lunch and a latte from Paper City Coffee, which is the absolutely most adorable coffee shop, ever. All of the employees there were dressed up like cats and the girls loved it! The fall foilage in Chillicothe was stunning.
Saturday night, we actually ventured out again (guys, this never happens typically… let alone two nights in a row) to an adult Halloween party. It’s been years since we’ve dressed up for Halloween but we had a great time! We went for a very organic 70s couple… people at the party assumed we were Rod Stewart and Janis Joplin… and yeah, sure.. we’ll go with that! It sounds better than just 70s but that’s what we were thinking haha! I found my wig ($22 and it comes in 30 colors LOL), sunnies ($11), headband, fringe vest ($28), and pants ($17) all via Amazon Prime, if you’re looking for a last minute costume!
And then, on Sunday, we took the girls hiking in Lancaster! Lancaster’s rolling hills and historic downtown are a site to be seen this time of year. Rising Park is awesome too, if you’re looking for a hike!
I hope you had a great weekend!
