DECEMBER…
Can you believe it’s almost Christmastime?! Where did this month go? Ah! The celebrations are just beginning & I know these next couple of weeks will be filled with so many great memories made with family & friends. I’m excited to celebrate Ellie’s 1st Christmas, too! 🙂
I know you all really enjoy when I post my “wishlist” for the next month & I typically love doing it, too! It seems a little extra this month, given Christmas… howeverrrr, I MUST share that one of my all-time favorite shops that I share with you all the time is now on Amazon! Hello, fashionable Prime orders! In January, I also see myself investing in a pair of these boots for winter or a pair from my go-to shoe brand. I’m pretty stocked on sweaters but what I could use is a pretty blouse from this brand or this one, both equally as affordable and beautiful.
Here are some photos I shared to Insta this month…
^^Our cozy little kitchen. 💕 // a “just because” post for y’all. truth: I HATED this kitchen when we moved in. While it’s still a work in progress, the grape border, brown walls, & outdated trim, appliances, & lighting fixtures were the first things we changed. Recently (and I shared this on instastories!), my awesome Dad & sis in law & bro painted our cabinets BM Chantilly Lace. I bought this sweet little island & we used our old barstools from when we lived at the flats on vine & here we are. Green countertops still have to go as does the sink & faucet…. but SO MUCH more time (& food has been consumed) has been spent in this space since we redid all of this! And more importantly, so many more laughs, so much more singing, & even dancing. It’s a tiny kitchen, but it’s quickly becoming my favorite space in our home. ❤️
^^ Hosted such a fun giveaway over on Insta for a free blowout at The Blowout Bar with these local ladies!
^^ Seriously, I should have my done as much as possible… because I’m never motivated to really DO my hair. This blowout lasted for days!
^^ Our stocking were hung by the chimney with care… 🙂 Ready for Santa over here! Ava asked me how Santa gets in our house… she said, “He’s so big!” LOL
^^ Shared our favorite children’s books on the blog this month! Truly the best books for us.
^^ Parents’ day out, shopping at the Mall at Tuttle Crossing!
^^ I love babies’ Christmas outfits. Fun fact: The one on the right was mine 🙂
^^ It was love at first sight when I saw this sign at Hobby Lobby! It was the PERFECT piece for our playroom!
^^ Last, but not least, check out my sis-in-law and I’s new venture: MAMA Oils… check us out on Instagram … or “like” us on Facebook. We are sharing how we use essential oils to help our families stay healthy, clean & safe. Also, if you’re interested in the business side of oils… please shoot me an email @ girlaboutcolumbus@gmail.com 🙂
I hope you have a wonderful holiday! Thanks for reading. xoxo
