Life Lately: June

JUNE: Filled with bright colors, pool days, sunshine, hot days, cool nights, lots of baby girl smiles, and family time. It must be summer. 🙂

^ The cutest lil’ cookies for summer from the locally-owned Jana Lee’s Bake Shop. 🙂^ Baby legs at Kings Island. Ava’s swimsuit (currently 30% off!).^ A trip to Kings Island is not complete without blueberry ice cream!
^ A flashback to two years ago when Lebron returned to Cleveland (don’t mind the various brooms in the background – we were in the middle of a home re-model 🙂 )! Believe!
^ Celebrating 614 Day by posting this flashback of a photo of that time we went kayaking on the Scioto (before they re-did it)!
^ Baby girl was baptized this month, wearing my grandpa’s Christening gown which made it extra special.^ Peonies for days at the Worthington Farmers Market. These sandals have been my go-to this summer- they’re SO comfy and go with everything in my closet.^ Trying to lose those last few lbs from pregnancy and having to find healthy alternatives to my weaknesses! Starting with pizza! We made pita pizzas with pasta sauce, provolone cheese, red/orange peppers, kale, onions, basil, and oregano. So delicious and the combo possibilities are endless!^ Cuddles with my babe before her lesson at Goldfish Swim School.^ My favorite, everyday smoothie bowl recipe here. I make them ahead of time and freeze all of the dry contents so they are ready to go in the morning! I just add a bit of almond milk and toppings and it’s ready to go!^ AMERICA.^ Pretty peonies. I wish they could last all year.^ Ava spent so much time of this mat! I swear it’s her new favorite toy! She’s wearing this adorable strawberry bubble that’s sold out but is available in a dress version.

^ We finally tried out Balboa in Grandview – their sampler, blueberry basil margaritas, and short rib bowl were AMAZING and I already can’t wait to go back. Love the atmosphere and the great food.^ I partnered with Invoke Thy Quote to giveaway this Ohio bag to one of you 🙂^ Did some damage at the new Rack Room Shoes (they offer buy one, get one 50% off all.the.time) at the new Tanger Outlets in Sunbury.

^ Currently craving: This bowl of oatmeal from La Chatelaine in Worthington and a side of green juice from Native Cold Pressed. 🙂
