This past weekend, Nic, Ava and I had THE BEST time experiencing the newly opened Goldfish Swim School in Westerville! I could not get over the cuteness factor of both the school and my lil’ babe in the water!
Just a little bit about Goldfish: Their pool is always heated to 90 degrees (major bonus in those winter months in Ohio!), they offer swim lessons to children ages 4 months – 12 years old, and they have super flexible scheduling.
They accommodated us with our hectic schedule and found a time that worked for us on a busy Saturday.It was great because we actually ended up having the best instructor, Ms. Jessica, all to ourselves! Plus, the place is absolutely adorable with color and energy everywhere.
It was absolutely a joy to watch Ava Mae experience the water like she never had before. She got to wear this adorable swimsuit (that’s currently 50% off!), kick around in the water, and have some quality time with Daddy! She absolutely loved every minute of her 30-minute session and we cannot wait to go back!
We want her to grow up comfortable around water and we want her to to become a strong swimmer one day and if we can all have a little fun doing it, why not?! 🙂 I think the lesson was just as much fun for us as it was for her. Baby even got her first ribbon!

My 8 month old son Jack started swim lessons at the new Goldfish in Dayton when he was five months old! I was so impressed with all of the activities that were planned during the class for such little babies. I wasn’t sure how much could be done with such little babies, but I felt as if class moved fast and the babies were (almost!) focused the entire time lol. Jack just went again last night and it’s fun to see how much he has improved since the beginning!
