I debated over the title for this blog post: The Honorable William Wall vs. the Coolest Bar in NYC vs. The Best View of NYC. Because this place is all of the previously mentioned and more.
The Honorable William Wall, or also known as “Willy Wall,” is a New York City hidden gem Nic and I were fortunate enough to be clued in on when we were visiting our very dear friends Chris and Colleen this past August.
Chris’s 30th Birthday Party was celebrated aboard this floating clubhouse of the Manhattan Yacht Club. Its upper deck has been open to the public since 2012 per their website and it’s anchored in just north of Ellis Island, providing stunning views of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty in the meantime.
If you live in New York or are going to visit, all you need to do is buy a launch ticket to take you out to the boat – we loved that you could bring your own food aboard too.
We arrived early evening and stayed past dark. Manhattan is just beautiful at night.
Such a unique and memorable experience and one that we won’t ever forget!
