Life Lately: August

August is always so full of celebrations: My husband’s birthday, Lincoln’s birthday, my nephew’s birthday, more birthdays, bridal showers, weddings, trips… the list goes on! We’re officially into my favorite time of the year! Here are some snaps from my Instagram this month!^ Summer heat in the city.^ My pregnancy cravings for Haiku surely continued… I found out all the rolls I always get are vegetarian!

^ I’m mildly obsessed with The Jones Market‘s necklaces that are non-toxic, tuggable, and perfect for moms and moms-to-be!

^ Dined al fresco at Nada Columbus (love their patio- you should sit there next time!) + also shared some of my Favorite Columbus Eats + Drinks in a post.

^ Our family Day Trip to Granville was perfect and the dogs had a blast!

^ Snapped this after dining at Marcella’s for Happy Hour – a tradition Nic and I started after every successful doctor’s appointment.

^ Visited the good ol’ Ross County Fair to see my niece & nephew show their hogs! Yes, it was my first official time watching a hog show even though I’m from Chillicothe!

^ These New Balance sneakers are PERFECT for Ohio State football season!!! I can’t wait to wear them!

^ My best friend’s bridal shower was at the beautiful Atwood House in Chillicothe earlier this month! You can see more photos from that weekend here.

^ This Ohio plate from Corbe Company is sooo cute, versatile, and well-made! It makes the perfect present (thanks again, Mom & Dad!).

^ This lil’ munchkin turned 5 this month! Hard to believe Lincoln is such a lil’ man these days!

^ Nic + I took a weekend trip to New York City to visit friends + explore and we had THE BEST TIME! I keep posting about it because I just can’t help it – we took so many fun pictures! You can check out my posts so far: The Brooklyn Bridge and One World Trade Center.

^ National Dog Day warranted a full dog photo shoot this year. Who knows how much longer these two will be the same exact size!

^ Columbus was so pretty this month! <3
