I was ecstatic to accept an invite to review Green BEAN Delivery because I had been thinking about signing up for this service for awhile! While I’m not always the absolute, healthiest eater (I have a serious sweet tooth that I blame genetics on), I have learned a ton about healthy eating within the past few years and have adapted a lot of my old ways…
I’ve learned that I am a huge believer in eating fresh + seasonal + local produce. This is why I am a huge fan of Green BEAN Delivery. Bonus: They deliver the healthy stuff right.to.your.front.door.
How do you sign up for this year-round food delivery service? You register for a membership at Green BEAN’s website. You create an account for free, put in your payment info, choose which one (out of five) different produce bins you want and enter the frequency you want your delivery (weekly or biweekly). You then have the opportunity to change or add groceries to be delivered each week. I signed up online for my trial and was surprised at how easy it was to do.
You may be thinking that this type of service must be expensive. But, it’s not. As long as your order is $35, you are charged nothing for delivery. I received the $35 Small Fruit and Vegetable Bin, which is suited for 2-3 people and was pleased with the amount, quality, and variety of fruit and vegetables that were included: Broccoli, Carrots, Yukon Gold Potatoes, Celery, Grapefruit, Tangelos, Apples, Blueberries, Mushrooms, and Lettuce. Other options include, but are not limited to, the $42 Medium Fruit and Vegetable Bin, which is perfect for a family of four or the $49 Large Bin, which is meant for a larger family and/or the super-healthy eaters.
The best part? Everything is locally-grown, seasonal, all-natural, and organic.
Healthy eating + supporting local = It just makes sense.
