I cannot stop eating these pancakes – they are the healthiest + easiest pancakes, everrr.
Seriously, forget the flour/sugar/butter – style ‘cakes.
These things are sooo much better for you. And just as delicious: I promise!
Plus, they keep you full + satisfy that morning sweet tooth you might all have (if you’re like me that lil’ bit of sweet helps getcha goin’).
These pancakes are just too good not to share with you all!
Here’s what you need for 2 servings (just use 2 eggs, 1 banana, & 1 spoonful of flaxseed for 1 serving):
- 5 eggs
- 2 bananas
- 2 1/2 heaping spoonfuls of ground flaxseed
That’s it! Seriously. Just put all the ingredients in a blender and pour onto lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Brown on both sides.
*Note: I love putting cinnamon + cocoa powder in my pancakes to give them some added flavor. You can add any spice you want or even add chia seeds for the added health benefit. Put blueberries or dark chocolate chips in the batter if you want a lil’ more sweetness. I also prefer to garnish these babies with berries and some lemon with a tad of maple syrup. Enjoy!
