With Christmas just a few days away, I thought it would be fun to take you on a mini tour of our living room, all dressed up for the season!
First up, the mantel (yes, I just googled is it mantle or mantel LOL)! I added three greenery garlands this year to add texture and a layered look. A faux cedar garland, this pine garland, and bits of faux eucalyptus were tucked in, too.
I used this white gaffer tape to keep the garlands in place. I also used this beaded garland and this felt ball garland to add some lighter colors to the greenery. Last, I added both twinkle lights and globe lights, both set to a timer.
Our Anthro mirror was a splurge but I found it on major sale… and we’ll never have to worry about what goes above our mantel again! I love it… how classic it is… how it fills the space… and how it reflects all that natural light. Also on top of our mantel – Target bottle brush trees and golden stars that I got from there last year.
Next up, our tree! I found this pretty little Christmas tree last year at Meijer! I fell in love with it because it’s *lightly* flocked, resulting in a gorgeous lighter green color. I also am a huge fan of those cute little mini lights! It has a few settings too… twinkling, etc. We have it on a timer and it is on in the morning for a bit and then all of the evening hours.
I added three wooden garlands to our tree, along with pink satin ribbons, inexpensive ornaments from Hobby Lobby and Target, and woven star ornaments from Studio McGee. I tied the ribbons before setting them on top of the tree branches. I love how the bows dressed up our tree and gave it a feminine touch!
I tucked in a few eucalyptus picks from Hobby Lobby to help our tree look fuller. I almost forgot I had some loopy yarn I picked up from Hobby Lobby! I put that on after I took some of these photos but you can see it resembles fluffy snow and I absolutely adore it! I topped our tree with a simple, glittery star from Target.
For the stockings, I used three of these stocking holders, which are hidden underneath the garlands. Our knit stockings are all from TJ Maxx a few years ago (a major score)!
I invested in personalized nametags for us this year because I just love the look! These add a modern + natural element to our stockings. I tucked in a few bows for another feminine touch and to keep the mantel look cohesive.
My sparkly gold + green trees, along with candles landed on this media stand. Ever since our first Christmas here, I’ve wanted to try wreaths on these windows but thought they’d be too big. Well, I found these sweet little eucalyptus ones, tied a ribbon on them, hung them, and have never looked back! They definitely kick the festivity up a notch!
The last thing I decorated in this room was this little enclave in the brick fireplace wall. This is by far my favorite time of year to style this space!
We recently added these wooden floating shelves to replace the previous glass ones. My collection of bottle brush trees fits perfectly into this space! I’ve been collecting these for several years now.
And that’s it!
Thank you for stopping by today to check out my living room for Christmas! Happy Holidays!
