Quick Trip to Cleveland

I’ve been meaning to post our quick trip to Cleveland for awhile now so here we go!

Last Spring, Nic and I ventured north to Cleveland for a night! Annie from The Lofts at Harness Cycle reached out to me about staying at her gorgeous Airbnb and we immediately said YES! We hadn’t been away for a night from the kids in almost a year so we went for it!

After checking in to Annie’s AirBnB, which is located in Hingetown neighborhood in Ohio City (just a few minutes drive over the bridge into downtown Cleveland and down the street from the Shoreway), we walked across the street to grab some coffee from Rising Star Coffee Roasters.

Next, we hopped over the Edgewater Park to get a picture with the famous Cleveland sign. This is a beautiful park! We’ve been here before & I feel like we’ll want to visit everytime we go to Cleveland. The funny thing is, we’ve only been to Cleveland when it’s chilly out (fall + spring + winter) – we need to schedule a summer trip bc that lake effect is a real thing.

Then, Nic + I explored the Hingetown area a little more by walking around. That night, we went to dinner at Lindey’s Lake House Flats, located on the water. This restaurant was so cozy and sooo delicious! The next time we go back to Cleveland, I want to go back here! Especially if it’s warmer weather because they have an amazing waterfront patio 🙂 HIGHLY recommend for a date night and/or girls’ night!

We bopped around a little more thanks to our super easy to use Uber (we’re’ kinda newbies to Uber – but using this made our entire trip so simple + carefree for us).

The next morning, we had breakfast a sweet little French cafe – Le Petit Triangle. The food was delicious! We had a fantastic trip – we only wished it lasted longer! A huge thank you to Annie for sharing your beautiful loft with us. If you guys are looking for somewhere to stay, I can’t recommend it enough!!!
