These last few months, Nic and I have been busy updating areas of our house! We moved last July and then school started, so we had very little time to put our personal touch on much of anything.
I’ve been planning spaces in my mind all year and have been excited to have Nic home to transform my ideas to a reality! 🙂
I’ve used PicMonkey for years for collages for the blog… but never for home design. However, I’ve found it extremely useful in the process this time around! 2 kids… life is a bit busier and I need to get my ideas on paper this time or else they leave my mind quickly, ha, ha!
Anyways, I’ve made mood boards for nearly every room we’ve tackled this break and it helps me see everything cohesively.
I’ll be sharing more with you but we’ll start with our basement guest bathroom! We wanted to invest very little into this bathroom but we also wanted to make it COOLER.
What did we KEEP? The vanity, sink, faucet, cabinet hardware, shower, and tile floor. Note: We kept the vanity but decided to paint it a color we already had… Benjamin Moore’s Hale Navy. We LOVE this color! It’s the prettiest navy.
What did we UPDATE? The paint, light fixtures, mirror, toilet, towel bar + ring, and decor items.
I’ll share more as well as the finished room photos, soon, but here are the sources for our updates:
