We had the absolute BEST time exploring the new Children’s Garden at Franklin Park Conservatory last week!
The massive, 2-acre garden is amazing and unlike anything in Columbus because it’s a huge play place for kids to explore nature!
While we were there, I was chatting with a woman that brought her nephews to check out the Children’s Garden. She mentioned that kids don’t explore outside as much anymore and I 100% agree! My husband and I absolutely prefer outside time to screen time and we hope our girls will be the same way. My 2 year-old particularly loved the music, pretend play, gardening, and water areas! There were areas for her to play instruments, water the flowers, see fairy gardens, and splash in the creek and puddles.
She also loved the flamingo and bird topiaries as well as climbing the stairs, running through the tunnel, and jumping off of the wooden balance beams 🙂 Insider Tip: Be sure to bring a bathing suit for the kiddos!
I really need to add this spot to my recommendations of fun places to take kids in Columbus! It’s SO FUN!
