SUMMER: What a beautiful, relaxing season meant for spending time outside, traveling, eating, laughing with friends and family, and staying up late. I feel very fortunate to have a career that allowed me to stay at home the past three months with my little girl and witness so many sweet, precious firsts. Nic and I had our first overnight stay this summer without Ava thanks to my parents and it was nice to getaway and not nearly as hard to leave her as I thought it might be… probably because both she and I were both ready! Our amazing babysitter also had Ava a couple of days a week which was so nice… I ran so many errands, actually went to Target by myself multiple times (which hadn’t happened since she was born, really), and Nic and I had a few day dates which was a bonus. Summer 2017, you were a sweet one!

^^ Borrowed this beauty from Ricart for a road trip to Lake Erie!
^^ Took in the Marblehead Lighthouse.
^^ Visited Put-in-Bay for a quick 24-hour trip with my husband!
^^ If one picture could summarize this summer, this one would be it! Chased after my little toddler all day, every day! 🙂
^^ The mimosa flight at The Crest is as tasty as it is pretty.
^^ Tried Cosecha for the first time (finally, I know!) – it’s so good!
^^ Picked up some fresh peaches from Rhoads in Circleville while wearing my favorite vintage buy from Vintage Toast in Clintonville.
^^ Ventured north to Michigan to visit Holland with my family.
^^ Had our family pictures taken with the fabulous Rachel of Little Roo Studios. We used her last year too and LOVED her!
^^ Spent many fun mornings at COSI with the little one.
^^ Celebrated the 4th of July at my best friend’s house in UA, watching the annual parade.
^^ Started to get excited for fall fashion, including these pink beauties I found at Target.
^^ Checked out all the kiddo offerings at Scioto Audubon Center.
^^ Brunched with my lovely friend, Candace at South of Lane.
^^ Visited ZipZone’s newly opened Adventure Park!
^^ Quickly remembered why 18 Months is my favorite age!
^^ Picked strawberries and blueberries!
^^ Did a lot of antique/vintage shopping.
^^ Had a BLAST exploring the city with a toddler!
^^ Used these summer beauty products all season long!
^^ Went to Cimi’s Bistro at The Pinnacle the night before heading back to work!
