Time to get back to the basics & share a long overdue “Around Columbus” post! So, I give you one of my favorite places to shop in the city: Cub Shrub, a ridiculously cute children’s boutique which features clothing, toys, accessories, gifts, and more. I’ve shopped at the original location in the Short North but I my ears perked up once I heard they were opening their second location in Grandview.
First, I appreciate that there is a parking lot behind the shop. It really is the little things, right?! Secondly, the space is absolutely darling!
I visited a couple of weeks ago and couldn’t help but feel instantly warm and happy, surrounded by colorful children’s goodies, all nearly glowing from the abundance of natural light that was pouring through the windows of the Grandview Avenue storefront.
I really wasn’t planning on doing a post featuring Cub Shrub, to be completely transparent with you. But, I couldn’t help snap some iPhone pics while shopping because I was so impressed with the space. And did you really think I was going to keep all these photos to myself? Um, definitely not. 🙂
They carry some of my favorite children’s brands like Meri Meri, Tea Collection, and Hape. Not surprisingly, I left with a few bags in hand, complete with the cutest large coral tassel basket, an “Explore” pennant flag, and a peach and gold flag banner, with the hopes of using these novel finds to put a few finishing touches on our playroom at home.
I already can’t wait to go back! If you can’t get into one of the shops, they have so many shoppable offerings on their website here.
[…] Okay, so you may not want to take your kids, but you can definitely shop for them here! Cub Shrub is the sweetest, cutest boutique shop for children that has two locations: Short North and Grandview. Both are equally as darling and I doubt you’ll leave empty-handed! I did an entire post about the new location HERE. […]
