Life Lately: July - amanda party + home

JULY: Patriotism, heat, sunshine, sweet treats, pool days, love. Where do all of the summer days go? I’m always looking ahead know that August will bring many changes, both professionally and personally. I hope you’re summer has been a great one!

^^ My 4th of July outfit… minus (I’m not going to lie!) the shorts. I had to trade them in forthese white jeans because it got so chilly! J. Crew Factory top (on sale) // J. You’re welcome in advance for the next patriotic holiday! 🙂^^ Our first Upper Arlington 4th of July Parade, celebrating my BFF and her husband’s housewarming party! Lucky ducks – they have a spot right on the parade route! I foresee many more 4th of Julys spent here with friends and family and that makes me happy!^^ Was not able to make it to Red, White & Boom this year but did see some awesome fireworks at our friends’ house on Saturday night!!! There’s always something about seeing those fireworks go up every summer that brings back some memories and creates a sense of nostalgia.^^ Picked up a few delicious cupcakes from Fantasy Cupcake in Canal Winchester. This place definitely lives up to its hype. So, so good.^^ Park day with Ava. She loves this colorful blanket as much as I do 🙂

^^ Doesn’t get much better than Jeni’s. This month held National Ice Cream Day but really, it’s this day nearly everyday for me! I LOVE ice cream.^^ Hopefully you took advantage of the twice-yearly 614 Magazine Restaurant Week this month. Some of my favorite restaurants were included and this is one of my all-time favorite dishes ever… from Figlio.^^ Collaborated with Sweat Local Columbus to share this post about their upcoming event. p.s. Love these leggings from the locally-owned Bend Active.^^ Collaborated with Meijer to giveaway a Colgate Optic White kit and to share a few beauty tips/tricks this month!^^ Went to the prettiest wedding at the quaintest church in all of Ohio – Browns Chapel.^^ Gorgeous venue reception in Chillicothe – Stillwater Event & Conference Centre.^^ My sweet girl turned 6 months old this month!!! I rounded up her baby favorites in this post.

^^ Fiiinally tried the highly-raved-about Brassica in the Short North. Great spot for lunch… cozy, healthy, colorful, fresh interiors. Try the french fries!
