To sound completely cheesy… I feel like the warm weather of April has completely restored my health and general well-being. Have I mentioned I LOVE Spring? And I LOVE warm weather? Ah, it just makes me so happy to see all of the blooming trees and flowers! I feel inspired and am going to just keep the GAC-ness coming! I hope you all have had a wonderful month.
^ Fresh hydrangeas at the grocery were too pretty not to take a snap.
^ The most colorful (and delicious) Easter spread at my parents this year.
^ Sunset the evening before Easter morning – I’m slightly obsessed with their new window shutters.
^ How cute are these mini cheesecakes my mom made?
^ I completed a (modified) sambaFRESH juice cleanse this month! Totally re-set and it felt so good.
^ Ranunculus at Whole Foods Upper Arlington – gorgeous!!!
^ Gave my lil’ bro a shoutout on my Insta for Siblings Day this month. So proud of him and all of his accomplishments.
^ Tulips for daaaaaays.
^ Snapped a ton of pics for a post on Spring in Goodale Park this month.
^ Goodale is one of my favorite places in the city in early Spring, year after year. You can’t beat the blooming magnolia trees!
^ Anthropologie Short North had THE absolute CUTEST table settings in their window display this month! I had to snag this shot with my iPhone as soon as I walked in the door! Major props to whoever did these! My photo even made Anthropologie’s website! You can shop their table runner HERE, the floral plates HERE, and the light green plates HERE.
^ We made it to the Ohio State Spring Game – on beautifully sunny + 75 deg Saturday – and I’m sure you’ve heard our attendance set a new Spring Game record!
^ Wearing Clothe Ohio to the Spring Game – you can find this t-shirt here – it also comes in red, green, and black!
^ Had a blast at The Blowout Bar in Dublin getting all dolled up (see below) along with a ton of other fabulous local ladies for their new, upcoming menu! Stay tuned!
^ Loving life at / half-shocked my hair can look this good at The Blowout Bar. Also-side note – I’m mildly obsessed with this top they gave me to wear for their shoot – it’s sooo me!
^ The Buddha Bowl + a Shooting Star juice at Northstar Cafe comes highly recommended by GAC if you’re ever wondering what to get on their can’t-go-wrong, amazing menu!
^ I’m a flower child, I’ve decided. A total kid in a candy store at the sight of these things. This was taken at Home Depot before I found a light pink peony plant that I’m currently babying.
^ Legit so happy to be wearing this M Renee Designs beauty! I can’t get over how pretty this baby is! And I was able to host a giveaway with the designer Monica this month!
^ Caught up with an old (I think I can say that now) and dear friend at Forno Short North, an excellent spot in the Short North – I highly recommend those brussels sprouts at warm ricotta dip… I’m ready to go back actually! You can view Forno’s entire menu here.
^ Jeni’s is such a class act on how they’ve handled this whole listeria situation. I’m a super fan at this point.
^ I had fun participating with CCAD’s Virtual Fashion Show on Instagram – their Fashion Show is on May 8 – you can check out more info HERE. Outfit details in case you really wanna know: Booties (obsessed – they are so comfy and go with everything) + white jeans (under $35 and sooo soft!).
^ Spa day at The Spa at River Ridge in Dublin was just what the doctor ordered on a rainy Saturday. This spa is legit, you should check it out, and you better believe I will be doing a blog post on their excellent service and beautiful new facility super soon!
^ Lil’ Reagan loves helping me with photo shoots around the house. Actually she’s probably thinking about how she could eat that koozie. Which is by Peach Tea Monograms by the way. Don’t worrrrry, you’ll be hearing a lot more about them soon! Their products are really, really awesome + I can’t wait to share.
^ Spring at its utmost finest in our front tree. Nic and I couldn’t even believe this! Sweet lil’ babies!
^ The prettiest tree I ever did see. And it’s all mine! Couldn’t wait to see what this beauty looked like once it bloomed – we’ve waited a year for this!
