Tee: Personal Baggage c/o | Flannel: J. Crew Factory | Jeans: Citizens of Humanity | Boots: Hunter | Bracelets: Tiffany & Co. & Chloe & Isabel, similar c/o Lindsay Meeker
October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month so my lil’ Maltipoo man, Lincoln, and I thought it would be the perfect time to sport my “Homeless to Homie” tee on GAC. This super soft + comfy tee is made by the Ohio company, Personal Baggage, and I love that they advocate for animals and they donate a portion of their earnings to a local rescue!
It makes me so sad to think that some dogs are homeless because all dogs need lots of love! You can find dogs up for adoption through both the Franklin County Dog Shelter and Capital Area Humane Society websites.

I just wanted to say that I absolutely love your blog! Girl About Columbus is so personable with all of the beautiful pictures that you post of Columbus and animals. As a girl, I really like when you do seasonal posts for fashion tips, you have a great sense of fashion!
Your posts: “10 Things to Do This Weekend” and “An Autumn Stroll through German Village” make me want to move to Columbus! Columbus looks so pretty and like a really genuine place to live. The pictures that you post are so intricate and have amazing color detail, it almost seems as if the viewer is there.
I also liked your post “Homeless to Homie” and thought that your outfit was creative. I appreciate the fact that you hyperlinked where people can buy each item that you are wearing.
Since it is fall, if I do end up moving to Columbus I would want to know things to do during October and November, I thought that the sign at the pumpkin patch that says “All one person can carry for $27” was a cool spot to check out.
Columbus should be proud that you are representing the beautiful city so well, keep the posts coming!
Sally
