While June was an absolute whirlwind, I was able to settle a lil’ more into the summer season this July. I still have a million more things I would love to do this summer (can’t it just last forever?) but I’m pretty happy with all I was able to enjoy this month.
Red White and Boom was awesome (as always) as was the fact that I actually won something: a pretty, pretty Stella+Dot necklace from local blogger Ashley from Style On High!
I definitely did some shopping and I was thrilled to share this collaboration I did with Meijer for their summer clearance sale and this post I teamed up with All’asta with to do. Plus, let’s talk #NSale for a minute. Nordstrom actually featured my Instagram of my new Nike’s on their website this past weekend! It’s an understatement that I took advantage of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – I purchased both of these colors of Nike Internationalist Sneakers plus a few other items like the black version of this faux leather jacket. Oh + these shorts from Anthropologie have been on my wishlist and now they’re on sale!
In terms of great meals out, lunch at Hammel House was delicious in Waynesville, Ohio during antique spree that eventually led to my new dining room table + coffee table purchases. I also enjoyed a few amazing dinners at one of my favorite hidden gems, Cimi’s Bistro at Pinnacle. And, of course, brunch at Northstar Cafe is always amazing!
To round out the month, during an outing in the country, I visited this amazing flower farm. I also put a lil’ spin on this delicious recipe from local blogger Courtney of NeighborFood for berry cobbler.
Bring it on, August!

What a gorgeous month it’s been in Ohio this year. I’m not used to these breezy mild summer days, but I’m definitely not complaining. I’m so glad you liked the cobbler. I’m going to have to try it with other berries next time!
