Last night, I went to one of my favorite restaurants, Cimi’s Bistro at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City. I truly think this restaurant is a hidden gem – they have the most amazing patio overlooking the course, with so many flowers and pops of color… it’s just gorgeous!
Their menu for Restaurant Week is just too delicious to not share. First course was the Mushroom Tortellini, which included ricotta cheese, wild mushroom mousse, brown butter and sage emulsion, and black pepper cracker. I’m not even a fan of mushrooms but this dish was cheesy goodness. For the second course, I went with the Black Walnut Walleye: Lake Erie walleye, black walnuts, au gratin potatoes, shaved zucchini salad, with a blackberry reduction. The reduction was amazing as was the fact that the walleye came out piping hot. I just love that. Third course was the Very Berry Sorbet, which was blackberry, huckleberry and acai berry sorbet with a raspberry glaze. This was the perfect dessert on this 90 degree day.
Perfect dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious and the service was great. I highly recommend, especially if you’re wanting to try a new restaurant, dine al fresco, and/or looking to take advantage of a fabulous menu for Restaurant Week!
