Charleston will always have a special place in my heart – I was a tourist in that adorable lil’ city for 2 years while attending the Medical University of South Carolina’s Speech-Language Pathology graduate program. And my husband and I fell in love in and with Charleston.
These beautiful photos have been on my hard drive now since July of last year when we went on vacation there for the Fourth… and I can’t wait any longer to share them!

I love Charleston! My aunt and uncle lived there for a long time and my family would visit every couple of years. It’s a beautiful city!

These photos are BEAUTIFUL! And I’m obsessing a little over the red dress/hot pink purse combo. Loved all of this! 🙂

Hello fellow Ohioan! We are going to Charleston this summer so if you have any must-do’s (restaurants, shopping, etc.) could you please share? I’ll add that we are staying at Embassy Suites with our 3 kids: 16, 13 & 9.

Hi Stacey!
I have so many! Feel free to email me if you want: girlaboutcolumbus@gmail.com . For a few suggestions, renting bikes on the beach, walking up one side of the big Ravenel Bridge, Fort Sumter, The Battery, USS Yorktown, kayaking in the streams/creeks, the plantations are all awesome as is the Charleston Market, and King Street for shopping (ps Jeni’s Ice Cream is opening a shop on King soon). In terms of food, Hyman’s Seafood and Fleet Landing for seafood… oh, but really you can’t go wrong with the food- it’s all amazing! Love that southern cooking!
