Happy Valentine’s Day!
Here are some (believe me, there are lots more) of my fave local, small businesses:
1.) Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams: Needs no explanation. I could eat this every day for the rest of my life.
2.) Flowers on Orchard Lane: My fave florist in Columbus, located in Clintonville (on Orchard Lane).
3.) Pistacia Vera: THE place to go for macarons, located in German Village + the North Market.
4.) The Hills Market: Stop by this grocery in Worthington or downtown to pick up some local buys.
5.) Mission Coffee Co.: Give me a coffee + my laptop + I could be here for hours.
6.) Lindey’s: Brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert. They’ve perfected it all at this German Village classic.
7.) Simply Vague: Perfect gift shop for that Ohio lover on your list.
8.) Homage: Softest tees in the city. Can be found in the Short North or Easton.
9.) Thread: Designer clothing boutique in Grandview + Dublin.
10.) La Jeune Mariee: Prettiest bridal shop, everrr!
11.) Fox in the Snow Cafe: They just opened up a new spot in German Village!
12.) The Blowout Bar: Best place to get a blowout in the city!
13.) Northstar Cafe: I’m always in the mood for Northstar’s brunch.
14.) Lavash Cafe: Clintonville Mediterranean restaurant that has the best hummus I’ve found in the city!
15.) The Book Loft: A Columbus classic located in German Village – get lost in 32 rooms of books 🙂
16.) Curio: Speakeasy cocktail bar beside Harvest (see below).
17.) Harvest Pizzeria: Delicious German Village pizza shop focused on use of local ingredients.
18.) Figlio: A go-to cozy spot for delicious pizza + Italian food.
19.) Vintage Toast: The CUTEST vintage finds for yourself and your home in the sweetest Clintonville shop.
20.) Sweet Thing Gourmet: Yummy jams made in Bexley. They make a great gift, come in super-cute packaging, & you can find them in a few area grocery stores!
21.) Alchemy Juice Cafe.: I rave about this healthy spot all the time!
22.) German Village Guest House: Boutique hotel in German Village.
23.) The Seasoned Farmhouse: Cooking classes I’ve been dying to try in Clintonville.
24.) Cub Shrub: One of my favorite places to shop for the littles!!!
25.) Native Cold Pressed: Juice bar in the Short North and German Village.
I love this– so many places I want to check out!
Love all these businesses! Of course Jeni’s…And I got my wedding dress from La Jeune Mariee! So many great places to experience and explore 🙂 Have you heard about the new board game bar, KingMakers?!
