A Short North happy hour staple. Take note: Marcella’s happy hour is Monday – Friday from 4-6pm and is ridiculously affordable and delectable. It includes half-price pizza ($6-7), salads ($3-4), appetizers ($4-6), small plates ($2-4), and select beers and wine. My husband and I each had the Marcella’s Chopped Salad – I loved the creamy peppercorn dressing but next time I will ask them to go easy on the Gorgonzola (Italian blue cheese). We also split the Braised Veal Meatball and since we were craving a hearty entree with marinara, our server suggested we try the Gnocchi con Bolognese (with lamb, parmesan, and marinara). Definitely recommend all of the above. Great service, atmosphere, prices, food, and wine. Honestly, the only thing missing was a wine glass with a stem.
