I’ve been brainstorming a lot about great blog posts for the next several weeks and the options are seemingly endless – Fall in Ohio is the best time! I also can be very nostalgic this time of year which has had me digging through my GAC archives for a quick refresher on posts I did last Fall, when GAC was just getting up and running.
Happy first day of Fall!!!
There are so many things I like to do during fall so it helps me to make a “to-do” list. Here we go:
1.) Visit a pumpkin patch – my favorite is Renick’s, just south of Columbus.
2.) Pick apples at Lynd’s Fruit Farm, CherryHawk Farm, or Legend Hills Orchard.
3.) Watch classic scary movies.
4.) Find a costume and throw a Halloween party.
It’s so hard to believe 2013 is almost over! I thought I would share My Top 25 Instagram Pictures of 2013 with you, chosen by my IG followers: I organized the pictures according to the # of likes it received, with all of these over 100 likes (wow, thank you)! 🙂 Starting with #1…

OLD MAN’S CAVE
18905 State Route 664 South
This past weekend, my hubby and I ventured south to a southern Ohio favorite, Old Man’s Cave. Old Man’s Cave is part of the Hocking Hills State Park, which is a little over an hour southeast from Columbus. We were hoping to see some fall foliage, but with the 85 degree weather we had last week, we saw only a glimpse.
OCTOBER: TOP 10 TO-DO LIST
Fall always officially begins for me on October 1st. So, in honor, I have a couple of things on my to-do list this month in and around Columbus that I thought I would share:
1.) Visit a pumpkin patch (http://www.circlesfarm.com/fallfundays.html).
2.) Attend the annual Circleville Pumpkin Show, October 16-19th (http://pumpkinshow.com/).
