Favorite Columbus Eats + Drinks

It’s past time for another post in the “Eats + Drinks” series! I’ve definitely have my fair share favorite Columbus restaurants + I’ve found the following meals + drinks to be essential “must-try’s” when visiting and/or exploring Columbus!
^ A classic cocktail or two at Curio in German Village.

Yummy Red Velvet Cookies

Have you ever had Red Velvet Cookies? Mmm. Melt in your mouth. Seriously. These babies are as good as they look. Which is why they were a shoo-in for the blog today.

Sassafras Bakery

I had been hearing + seeing A LOT about the new Sassafras Bakery in Worthington, so I just had to check it out last month. A little background info: The baker/brains/creativity behind the bakery is AJ Perry and folks, she is GOOD.

Fall Sweet Treats…

How’s everyone enjoying fall in Ohio so far?! I’ve been baking up a storm over here (pumpkin muffins, cornbread, beer bread, brownies, etc.) and also have been hearing about some pretty amazing fall desserts in Columbus that I have to share with you.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams – Jeni’s Gravel

JENI’S SPLENDID ICE CREAMS
714 N HIGH STREET
COLUMBUS, OHIO

I am an ice cream connoisseur. Yep, sure am. I tend to eat local ice cream (well, besides the occasional DQ) – the summer I lived in Vermont, I had a ton of Ben & Jerry’s. Living in Columbus, my go-to is Jeni’s. Her shops and flavors are creative, visually-appealing, and extremely well-marketed.
