Pre-baby, one of Nic and I’s favorite things to do in Columbus was take our dogs and walk around massive Ohio State’s campus. While we have taken Ava once or twice, we really haven’t gone nearly as much as we used to.
This is one of those posts that I’ve been working on for awhiiile and, this summer, I’ve done some major “research” with my babe to give you a valuable guide on where to take those littles ones around the city. I get a lot of questions about fun places for kids in Columbus.
Time to get back to the basics & share a long overdue “Around Columbus” post! So, I give you one of my favorite places to shop in the city: Cub Shrub, a ridiculously cute children’s boutique which features clothing, toys, accessories, gifts, and more.
This past weekend, Nic, Ava and I had THE BEST time experiencing the newly opened Goldfish Swim School in Westerville! I could not get over the cuteness factor of both the school and my lil’ babe in the water!Just a little bit about Goldfish: Their pool is always heated to 90 degrees (major bonus in those winter months in Ohio!), they offer swim lessons to children ages 4 months – 12
A couple of weekends ago, my lil’ family and I ventured to The Gateway for some lunch, treats, and shopping. This quaint area, located one block off North High Street between 9th and 11th Streets, is not just for the college kids these days – there are many great places to eat, shop, and work out.
