So I had to venture to the Ohio State Fair this past weekend… the weather was just to die for! Apparently, a lot of other Ohioans had the same idea as the attendance was record-breaking at an unofficial 903, 824 attendees for the 12-day event. Every time I go to a fair, I feel a sense of history, tradition, and summer memories.
So I got a couple of requests to share my recipe for the fresh, homemade Blackberry syrup I made the other day… You could have it with pancakes, waffles, crepes, or you could add a splash to your iced tea or lemonade.
