So what do I do when it’s -2987349 degrees in Ohio? I plan Nic & I’s next summer vacation: And I’m very excited about the possibilities. #staytuned.
OLD MAN’S CAVE
18905 State Route 664 South
This past weekend, my hubby and I ventured south to a southern Ohio favorite, Old Man’s Cave. Old Man’s Cave is part of the Hocking Hills State Park, which is a little over an hour southeast from Columbus. We were hoping to see some fall foliage, but with the 85 degree weather we had last week, we saw only a glimpse.
So, as I was working on my Charleston, South Carolina Travel blog post (which is still in the works — I took a bajillion pictures), I decided that Lost Dog Cafe deserves its own, separate post. It’s thaaat good. Since 2002, this place has been serving locals and vacationers alike on Folly Beach.
If you’re looking to take a mini road trip and venture outside of the city, I found the perfect little place! Blossoms at the Bend is the cutest U-Pick flower farm a few miles south of Circleville, located off of State Route 104 on Williamsport Pike… roughly 45 minutes from Columbus.
I hope you all had a very Happy 4th of July! I had a wonderfully amazing time in Charleston this past week during the holiday and I wanted to share a few shots with you from my trip.
