Winter is here and that means it’s time to to take extra special care of our skin. I’m a bit of a product junkie when it comes to skincare and makeup products and have tried nearly everything under the sun.

For me, Memorial Day weekend always symbolizes the true beginning of the summer season and, with that, I like to do a bit of shopping to stock up on things I’ll wear all season long.
I believe that, in general, we, as women, intrinsically feel our best when we think we are looking our best. It’s not about being superficial, materialistic, etc. — it’s about how we feel about ourselves, our bodies, our self-confidence. And, hey, if that involves days where we use a little extra powder or self-tanning lotion, then so be it. We are human, after all.
This past Friday, I had the opportunity to attend the 2015 CCAD Fashion Show AKA the best fashion show in Columbus.
Let me start by sharing that 100% of the proceeds go to the Columbus College of Art and Design (CCAD), including funding for student scholarships which basically aides the artistic talent in our city.
The energy and excitement was on another level.
