It’s no secret that German Village is an area of Columbus that I absolutely adore. A few Sundays ago, Nic and I spent the day in GV and met up with our friends that were from out of town for an oh-so-amazing brunch (if you’ve never been and you’re a bruncher, go! And go early – the place always has a line) at Skillet in German Village.
Gosh, Columbus has a ton of delicious spots to grab a bite or drink and I really enjoy trying them! Just like I did last month, I wanted to share a few “must-try’s” with you all…
^ Four Turns Baking Co. has got it goin’ on. Their artisanal Croissants are delicious and I love how you can order to have them shipped to you. Such a great idea for the upcoming holidays.
Last night, I went to one of my favorite restaurants, Cimi’s Bistro at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City. I truly think this restaurant is a hidden gem – they have the most amazing patio overlooking the course, with so many flowers and pops of color… it’s just gorgeous!
Their menu for Restaurant Week is just too delicious to not share.
I cannot stop eating these pancakes – they are the healthiest + easiest pancakes, everrr.
Seriously, forget the flour/sugar/butter – style ‘cakes.
These things are sooo much better for you.
After reading about jC’s Sweet Ice Tea in Columbus Monthy, I rushed to The Hills Market downtown to buy a few bottles. True story. See, I went to graduate school in Charleston, South Carolina and while I absolutely adore Columbus, I do miss that southern cooking. (Enter flashbacks of Hyman’s, Poogan’s, and Husk). There’s nothing like it.
