Where to Eat on Ohio State’s Campus: TRISM

trism cbus ohioPre-baby, one of Nic and I’s favorite things to do in Columbus was take our dogs and walk around massive Ohio State’s campus. While we have taken Ava once or twice, we really haven’t gone nearly as much as we used to. trism columbus ohio healthy restaurantNic was always down for a campus trip but knowing we couldn’t manage the dogs and a baby on the trip anymore and we’d have to leave the dogs at home, I just haven’t been as interested in visiting. Until… TRISM opened! trism high street columbus ohiotrism food cbusTRISM is a fast casual eatery, bar, and event space that is focused on “nutritious food, engaging entertainment, and a healthy social life,” per their website’s statement. They are housed in what used to be Eddie George’s Grille.healthy poptartPart of the group that owns and operates other local favorites Alchemy (which I’ve been obsessed with for awhile), The Crest Gastropub, and The Market Italian Village, TRISM did not disappoint when we visited a couple of weeks ago. trism healthy eating ohioYou can check out their entire menu HERE which also includes impressive cold-pressed cocktails, superfood smoothies, and bowls, just to name a few items.healthy breakfastI had the Cookie Monster smoothie bowl, which is just as delicious as it is both healthy and pretty. Nic had the Jalapeno Turkey sandwich, which he also raved about.trism columbus ohioOh, and Ava had the Avocado Toast, Breakfast smoothie, and bites of everything we ordered but what she devoured was the purple superfood poptart that I also couldn’t get enough of! where to eat on ohio state campusTRISM’s space is so vibrant and colorful! We tried to get a spot on their front patio but it was full so we settled for a table in the back. Honestly, my only complaint was that they didn’t have high chairs but they told me they will soon!    I’m such a fan and am already craving TRISM again! Have you guys been yet? What are some of your favorite healthy spots around Columbus?
