6 Month Baby Favorites!!!

IMG_6595My sweet Ava is over 6 months old already and I wanted to check in with you all to give you a bit of an update about what she’s been loving lately! Just this past week, she can sit up for a decent amount of time, she’s starting to “rock” to get ready to crawl, and I feel like she plays 10 times harder than before!6 Months
Ava is an excellent night sleeper, typically fights daytime naps, is not a fan of avocado despite my high hopes (she’ll come around, eventually! :)), loves sweet potato, and babbles “da-da” all day long! She steals our heart more and more everyday!

EATING:

Our favorite bottles? Tommy Tippee and Comotomo are both amazing, especially for breastfeeding mamas. This bottle warmer fits ALL sizes of bottles. Ava just started solid foods as of 6 months and we are loving this highchair – it comes with great reviews, it’s easy to clean, and it’s semi-stylish as well. If you’re thinking of making your own baby food – I highly recommend the BEABA Babycook – it’s so easy to use and clean.

PERSONAL CARE/HEALTH:

We still use and love this bathtub because it grows as Ava does! I’ve also became obsessed with using this lotion before bedtime. It lasts all night and she still smells so good come morning time! We use these diapers for daytime as they fit Ava the best (the less blowouts, the better!!!) and these diapers for nighttime. We use this shampoo/body wash and it smells so good. Also – the Target brand of wipes are the best – and you can’t beat the price! Poor babe picks up quite a bit of germs from other kiddos these days and we’ve definitely relied on this nasal aspirator, this humidifier, these Boogie Wipes to help Ava be more comfortable while her immune system builds up. Everyone says babes have to get their immune system somehow – hoping our lil’ girl is less sick come school time!

PLAYING:

Ava plays so, so much and sooo hard these days! She’s into everything and loves anything new and that makes a sound. She lives for this activity jumper, this play piano, and I swear her favorite toy right now is this puzzle mat – girl loves some tummy time and is starting to learn how to crawl!!! My husband bought her this swing and she doesn’t stop smiling and screaming when she’s in it! She’s also pretty into Sophie as a teether these days (totally worth the $, as we’ve found out)!

CLOTHES/ACCESSORIES:

I’m a huge babyGap fan for Ava! I also love Old Navy, Target and Carter’s. For special occasion/nicer clothing, I adore Tea Collection and Baby Boden. For hair bows, Ames Olivia, Free Babes Handmade, and Hello Miss Gorgeous are just darling. The cutest place I’ve found for bibs and burp cloths is Little Unicorn. I still love our swaddle blankets from A Little Lady Shop. For shoes, check out Freshly Picked and Wee Little Piggies!
