My Weekend in Photos

My Weekend in Photos | girl about columbus

Sorry that I’ve been a lil’ MIA on the blog and on social media this past week… Life definitely got really busy with going back to work and learning a new routine with the babe 🙂 After a crazy week, I was so happy to fiiiiinally have an amazing weekend weather-wise! It’s amazing what a little bit of sunshine and warmth can do for your soul. It was so nice to get out ‘n about! I hope you have a great week!

easton

^ A much-needed hair appointment with Miley at Charles Penzone in Gahanna! Seriously, ladies… Miley is amazing and always does exactly what I ask for. I recommend her to anyone that asks me where they should get their hair done in Columbus! Natural-looking balayage is what I asked for and is what I got. I love it! // I made a quick trip over to Easton after Charles Penzone to return a few things. The weather was just to die for on Saturday! I stopped in the Gap and Baby Gap and can’t get over how cute these pink chino pants are! I also love this cute one-piece for the babe.

straders-garden-nursery ^ I’ve been dying to stop in my local Strader’s nursery and I couldn’t wait any longer than this weekend. While I didn’t buy anything, it always energizes me and gets me excited for all the spring flowers that are starting to pop up!lindsay-honda-ohio

^ If you are a Honda fan, like I am… you may appreciate the new Lindsay Honda showroom. It’s huge and we loved the fact that they have so many models available to check out – open the doors up, sit in them… test drive them if you want! The best part? Salespeople aren’t coming at you from all directions. We explored at our own pace which was refreshing. p.s. How cool is that vintage yellow Honda? It was like a go kart inside (so small!) but sooo stinking awesome.

german-village

^ Perusing around German Village in the sunshine // Nic, Ava, and I couldn’t resist stopping in our favorite pizza place in the Village – Harvest  – we love the Ohio Double Bacon pizza with the brussels sprouts appetizer. Hits the spot every time.

old-canal-smokehouse

^ Enjoyed a fun lunch with cousins (+ all of our baby girls!) in Chillicothe at Old Canal Smokehouse, a local favorite. It was fun to catch up and talk baby talk 🙂ava

^ Ventured to my in-laws to hang out on their farm before heading back north on Sunday. This was taken before Ava passed out for hours it seemed like! I’m waiting for her 3 month growth spurt to hit any day now as she officially turned 3 months on Friday. Where does the time go? I’m wearing this top (it’s on sale!) and Ava is wearing this bow.
