Like many of you, I’m in the midst of finishing my Christmas shopping! It definitely helped to make a list this year to keep my budget and I on track! I’ve really enjoyed shopping this year and it helps that my nieces and nephews are at such fun ages – bring on the toy aisles of Legos and Barbies! I’m no stranger to the Barbie aisle.
Remember this post back in October about the new mobile app, CurrentC? Yep, I’m still using it for a quick and easy checkout at stores/gas stations/restaurants like Walmart, Sam’s Club, Sears, Kmart, Exxon, Mobil, Shell, Target, CVS, Giant Eagle, Market District, and Wendy’s. I’ve especially been using CurrentC a lot lately! Less complication is always best during the holiday season and I enjoy keeping all of my loyalty cards, gift cards, coupons, promotions, etc. together on the app so when I check out, it’s all right there. No fumbling around in my purse looking for a coupon I know I have but cannot find!
The CurrentC app is a time saver plus it helps me actually use the promotions/coupons/etc. that I need to use! See, it keeps everything in one spot so by the time I checkout, I simply choose my method of payment (gift cards, your checking account, etc.) and make sure I have the loyalty cards I use and the coupons “clipped” that I need in the app. Then, as I check out, the app produces a Paycode to be scanned at the cash register, restaurant table, drive-thru, or fuel pump. The merchant scans the bar code produced on my phone, payment is completed, and I’m outta there!
It’s also really cool that when I’ve used this app at gas stations like Exxon, after I’ve pulled in by the pump. I open my app, select PUMP, then verify my station location and pump number to authorize the pump to begin fueling before I even leave my car! The less time I have to be out in the cold this winter pumping gas, the better, right?!
As I mentioned previously, CurrentC is in their beta phase in Columbus and is in the process of branching out nationally. You can load a map on the app to show the exact locations of where it is currently accepted, however, CurrentC is being utilized in Columbus Wendy’s, KMart, Walmart, Target, Exxon, Giant Eagle, Market District, Mobil, Sears, and Sam’s Club!
So how do you check out this app? All you need to do is download CurrentC from Google Play or iTunes! From there, it’s really simple to set up your account. And simple to use. A win-win for everyday, especially the holiday season! Happy shopping!
