So, I’ve been conscious about trying to eat the healthiest whole foods, sans preservatives, for awhile. However, I’ve just recently become more aware of introducing more natural beauty care products into my routine.
I read something about how everything we put on our skin is absorbed into our bodies. It was such a simple statement, obvious really. But something I had never really thought about – our skin is our largest organ, so why would I flood it with tons of potentially harmful chemicals that could then be absorbed into my bloodstream?
I was recently introduced to Cleveland-based Beessential Natural Body Care, a company that coincides perfectly with a natural beauty care regimen. All of their products are free of harsh chemicals like sulfates, parabens, and PEG. They make everything themselves starting with the fresh, pure honey, beeswax, and Propolis from their Ohio family farm (so cool). Plus, Beessential is cruelty-free meaning that they do not experiment on animals.
I was excited to try all of Beessential’s lips balms with their Lemon Lavender Lip Balm being my favorite. I also really want to try this body wash. You can find Beessential sold locally in Columbus at Celebrate Local, Lucky’s Market, Global Gallery, and Market District in Kingsdale.
