When I was a little girl, I was convinced I was going to be a singer . I was obsessed with The Spice Girls, Britney Spears, and Christina Aguilera beyond words. My friends and I sang in every variety show we could + loved every second of it. While I gave up on my famous singer dreams a long time ago, I still very much love music, singing, and anything that has to do with either of the two.
So, naturally, I’m dying to go see the newly released Pitch Perfect 2, which centers around a college female a capella group. The first Pitch Perfect was so cute and its sequel, which was released on May 15, has already surpassed the total gross of the original in just the first five days of its release. The Bellas, the fictional Barden University a capella group, are made up of actresses Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Ester Dean, Hana Mae Lee, and Alexis Knapp. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the movie which makes it even more of a reason to go check it out with some girlfriends! p.s. I read that Pitch Perfect 2 has actually beat out School of Rock (yeah, remember Jack Black, LOL?) to become the highest grossing music comedy film. Pretty cool.
I’ve partnered with Schick today to share this information about the release of Universal Studio’s Pitch Perfect 2 as they are an official sponsor of the flick! Schick even produced a clever music video that features their own a capella group promoting their products for their Rock Your Legs campaign. I had never heard of leg selfies until watching that video!
As I shared in this post, I am a huge fan of Schick products (especially this time of the year!). You can purchase any of the pictured products at Ahold Stores, which includes: Stop & Shop, Giant and Martin’s, and of course, Meijer carries an assortment of this brand as well.
Let me know if you have seen or do see the movie – I would love to hear what you think!
