Let’s face it, every girl needs a good spa day every now and then.
I was thrilled when The Spa at River Ridge invited me to experience their new, larger location in Dublin but I had no idea how much I absolutely was going to LOVE it! I mean, LOVE it. I can’t wait to go back.
I stopped by the full-service spa on a super rainy + dreary Sunday afternoon after a morning yoga class – basically a hot mess and needing some serious pampering: I had a few hours of appointments lined up including a facial, blowout + style, and pedicure (woohoo!).
I was greeted by tons of smiling faces – every employee I encountered upon arriving was so helpful and excited about their new, gorgeous space – their happy energy was contagious made me even more excited to be there.
Retail Manager Addison Owen was super sweet and gave me a tour of the facility – they have tons of space. Truly, it’s the perfect place to plan a girls’ day/spa day/Bachelorette and/or wedding festivity! Or a solo spa day or a mother/daughter day or best friends day… you get the drift, I hope. This place is awesome and can accommodate all sorts of bookings.
Alicia was beyond knowledgeable and I’m telling you guys… the next time I get a facial I will definitely be going to her. If you’ve never had a facial – please do. It’s Heaven on Earth. I like them better than massages.
Next – after I came back to Earth (seriously), and downed some fruit-infused water compliments of the spa, I had my shampoo + style with Miranda: Loose/beachy waves was my choice.
Miranda was quick, efficient, and did exactly what I asked for in terms of style – as I can be a bit picky when I get my hair done. Loved!
After my hair sesh, Addison and Miranda stole me away to try out their selfie wall, which is super cute but no pics from this will be posted because my no-makeup state was just not post-able y’all 🙂
The last stop on my agenda was a pedicure. Leah was absolutely the sweetest and we had the best time chatting during my service. Oh and the color I chose? Creekside #183 by CND Vinylux, a pastel blue perfect for Spring.
Leah informed me this particular brand of polish actually intensifies as time goes on whereas most polishes fade. I can attest to this as my toes are still currently look ah-mazing, weeks later.
I was honestly a bit hesitant to leave the spa that day because I had such a fun, relaxing time at a new Columbus favorite spot of mine. I kept saying the entire time that I didn’t feel like I was in Columbus at all – it’s a super serene spot in the city. Thanks so much, Spa at River Ridge!
