Life Lately: February

January was amazing. February was definitely less than. While I don’t go into very many personal issues on GAC, this month was personally rough and I’m glad it’s over. With Spring on the horizon, all I can do is look forward and while it’s usually my normal state of mind, I’ve had to remind myself that the glass is half full on numerous occasions lately. You could say I’m a bit over February but I tried to enjoy it the best that I could. Here are some of my Insta snaps from this brutally cold month:::

^ Sunny but cold. That’s how I’ll remember this month.

^ So many pretty flowers were on display in Kroger everytime I went grocery shopping!

^ CornerSmith’s in Canal Winchester has some great, unique Ohio home buys.

^ Lots & lots of M&M’s consumed… oops!

^ Some February favorites: This strawberries & lilac candle from the local Candle with a Cause + this Gorjana circle necklace from ShopBop.

^ A lil’ excited to be on my way to Oxford for a college reunion/Bachelorette party. Wearing my Forever 21 Pink Faux Leather Jacket (only $18!).

^ Laying out a future gallery wall. The letter H is Marquee from Elm & Iron and the picture frames are from Target.

^ The combo of roses and a Blue mason jar has to be one of my favorites.

^ Starting my day with a smoothie helps me eat healthy all day.

^ Columbus Commons made my day with this sweet poem + Jeni’s Trio Card that I will be using ASAP. Thank you!

^ For Valentine’s Day on Insta, I shared this photo from our engagement shoot nearly 3 years ago with Red Gallery Photography in the Short North. It’s fun to look back at these photos because I definitely have new favorites with this one being one!

^ Lucky girl on Valentine’s Day 🙂

^ I visited Fox in the Snow Cafe for the first time this month and posted about it.

^ The start of this snowy madness.

^ I found this painting @ TJ Maxx for $19.99! A total score in my book.

^ So cold but so pretty.

^ Girl Scout cookies are an excellent attempt at making February more bearable!

^ Snowed in with a berry good smoothie. Recipe is coming to the blog super soon!

^ Loving Clothe Ohio – you can find the black + red version of this off-the-shoulder sweatshirt here.

^ Best friends are the best. This candle smells exactly like fresh roses.

February is just one of those months that are more or less blasé! March will be better for everyone, and I hope it is more than amazing for you!!
