I love the German Village establishment, Pistacia Vera. It’s such a special, happy, and warm spot in Columbus! Whether you’re stopping in for a macaron (pronounced mack-uh-ron), pastry, quiche, or coffee (just to name a few of their offerings), you can be guaranteed to taste something delicious. I could go on and on about how great of a place I think Pistacia Vera is, but I think you should check it out for yourself! 🙂
I recently had the opportunity to stop in, meet pastry chef Jessica Bryant and their Communications Manager, Callie Trafford. Both ladies were so warm and inviting, perfectly fitting in with my previously conceived notions of Pistacia Vera’s personality. They were gracious to show me their beautiful kitchen as well as share their new Fall menu offerings. I love that they change their menu seasonally! I had the opportunity to taste each of their new pastries and macarons, listed below, and I can personally attest that the pumpkin chai macaron alone is worth the trip to Pistacia! Sooo yummy! As was the entire menu!
While I like to stop in while in German Village, Pistacia also has a North Market location. Also, if you do visit Pistacia soon, and you enjoy taking photos of your food to share on social media, I would love to see your posts – feel free to tag #girlaboutcolumbus – it’s irresistible to take a photo because everything is so pretty! I hope you enjoy this cozy Columbus gem!
Love this post! Reminds me I need to make another trip to pick up some treats!
YUM!!! Send some my way!? 🙂
