What's in my Short North Pouch | girl about columbus

With re-modeling + packing + moving + unpacking + shopping + unpacking some more… my organizational skills have been seriously challenged these last few weeks. Which is why I recently leafed through this larger bag to simplify my life + condense my needs into a smaller bag:

This clutch that I’m obsessed with is from a company called All’asta (prounouced “All-aw-sta”). They’re not your typical direct selling company, which I find refreshing. Instead, they are focused on the experience – someone hosts a party, everyone brings items that they no longer want (but think cute purses, home decor, etc… not old raggedy stuff). Party-goers silently bid on items + then you can use the money you make to buy other items, get cash, and/or buy things from the super cute All’asta catalog (aka where this clutch is from). They’re brand new + a company you all should check out – oh and did I mention they’re local – hence the name of the clutch is the Short North Pouch. Stay tuned because this girl is hosting her own All’asta party in the fall! 🙂

I went into Nordstrom awhile back, just to look, and came out with this Jo Malone perfume. This stuff smells outta this world, lasts, and comes in the perfect travel-size bottle.

This Dior mascara has been in my beauty arsenal for going on 8 years. There’s nothing else out there like it… it’s magic.

I’m so into these $18 Free People sunglasses, which are much more wallet-friendly alternative to these $280 Karen Walker sunnies, that I’ve been obsessed with now for quite some time.

I am truly addicted to lip balm. I kinda freak out if I don’t have any on – I am a huge fan of lip gloss + lipstick but if I don’t have the balm, it’s a problem. Lately, I’ve been wearing this Hemp + Honey Plus lip balm, which is a from a local company. They have a line of natural body products…. I am also loving their hand butter.

I have a plethora of lil’ hand sanis right now but this Bath & Body Works one is my current fave. Yes, I definitely hit up their June sale.

These gac business cards are always with me, made by the very talented local artist Caitlin Hay. She also designed my logo + site banner that I am working on putting back on my new site.
