‘Tis the season to detox + eat/drink healthy.
I wanted to share some links I’ve read this week re: juices + smoothies! Enjoy:
1.) A Beautiful Mess’s Juicing 101 post. One of my fave blogs ever shares info about juicers, juice recipes, how to choose the right produce, and how to store juice.
2.) The Chalkboard’s One Doctor’s 8 Reasons to Juice Cleanse. I’m obsessed with this blog and post is awesome because Dr. Woodson Merrell, author of The Detox Prescription, explains why a juice cleanse is a great + healthy idea.
3.) Something Swanky’s Peanut Butter Chocolate Banana Green Smoothie recipe. Easy, delicious smoothie recipe: Spinach + Chocolate Almond Milk + Banana + Peanut Butter. I would switch up the peanut butter for almond butter and throw in some ground flaxseed.
4.) Eating Bird Food’s Carrot Cake Protein Smoothie recipe. I want to try this! Carrot juice + cinnamon + banana + vanilla almond milk + protein powder.
5.) Babble’s 25 Easy & Healthy Smoothies for New Year’s Resolutions. A ton of great smoothie ideas + photos. I’m going to try the Green Tea Blueberry Smoothie + the Energy Almond Shake.

7.) Honestly Yum’s A New Year and My Favorite Detox Juice. A seriously healthy juice. Beets + apples + kale + cucumber + cilantro + lemon + ginger + cayenne. Yum!!!
8.) The Pioneer Woman Cook’s Purple Resolution Smoothie recipe. Love the color purple? Then you may reeeally love this recipe. This smoothie calls for greek yogurt + blueberries + mixed berries + red cabbage + banana + honey + cranberry or grape juice.
Mmmmm. That carrot cake smoothie sounds delicious. Most mornings I drink a green smoothie with banana + almond butter + almond milk + cinnamon + spinach or kale. It’s super yummy!
