Woohoooooo: The first weekend of fall weather! Get out those jackets, boots (my fave!), and light sweaters/scarves because there are a few outdoor activities lined up this weekend in Columbus:
1.) Prepare to eat, drink and see pumpkin everything at the 107th Annual Pumpkin Show in Circleville, October 16 – 19th (http://www.pumpkinshow.com/).
2.) Take the kiddos to the annual Boo at the Zoo at the Columbus Zoo, Friday, October 18th – Sunday, October 20th (http://www.columbuszoo.org/events/10-19-13/boo_at_the_zoo_presented_by_diet_pepsi.aspx).
3.) Hop on a bus with the Columbus Historical Society’s Columbus City Tour Series on Saturday, October 19th at 9:30 am to take a tour of the history of Columbus (http://www.columbushistory.org/bus-tour-2013).
4.) Get fitness-inspired Sunday, October 20th at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon/Half-Marathon, held downtown (http://www.columbusmarathon.com).
5.) Dress up your pooch and enjoy possibly the cutest Halloween costumes ever at the 14th Annual Halloween Pet Parade at 1:30 pm on Sunday, October 20th at Easton Town Center (http://www.eastontowncenter.com/).
You’ll find me at the Pumpkin Show + cheering on the Buckeyes! Enjoy the weekend!
