I hope you enjoy this pictorial “sneak peek” of the new Simply Vague store at Polaris (set to open Saturday, September 28) as much as I enjoyed shooting. I was so excited to accept an invitation, given per owners Andrea and Nate Archibald, to check out this shop because I had heard great things about the Simply Vague at Tuttle Crossing. Basically, everything Simply Vague sells is Ohio-Made. Locally made, hello. I just love this concept. Andrea explained that she and Nate began their journey in retail by working in antique booths which then led them to open their own small shop in July 2012 in Delaware, offering Ohio-made goods. Soon thereafter, Andrea and Nate opened a much larger store at Tuttle Crossing Mall in September 2012. They now have over 180 Ohio vendors – wow.
The Polaris shop, which is on the lower level next to Sears, is just adorable. Thank goodness the store wasn’t officially open because I seriously think I would have spent a large chunk of cash… sans buyer’s remorse. Oh, I’ll be back, don’t worry. Attn: Friends and family: Don’t be surprised if your Christmas gifts are very, very similar to the items in the pictures below. Hmmm… 🙂
